Hispanic Heritage Month: Raising Victor Vargas

7 Oct

I would’ve posted Raising Victor Vargas anyway because I love this movie, but it seems appropriate being that its Hispanic Heritage Month and this movie stars three talented  Latina/o young actors Victor Rasuk (Stop-Loss, Lords of Dogtown) and Judy Marte (On The Outs, X’s and O’s) and Melonie Diaz ( Be Kind Rewind, Itty Bitty Titty Committee). Check out the rest of the movie here.

Lifetime’s:Acceptance

25 Aug

If you have Lifetime on Demand, you should definitely check out Acceptance, which premiered last Saturday. It features the lives of suburban youth as they experience the most anxiety/survival of the fittest/ stressful time of their high-school life: applying to college. I can relate to it, being that went to college fairs in high-school and did my college search on my own and ended up at my soon to be alma-matter Rutgers-Newark ( as a transfer student albeit). High-school juniors, seniors and all current college students should watch this movie and laugh at the stupid energy people waste on getting into college, although only for a short time, since applying to grad school may be right around the corner for some.

24 Oct

Hooray! Hooray!!! Noah’s Arc: Jumping The Broom Premieres Today. I’m so excited! I can’t wait to see this movie. According to Patrick Ian Polk ( Producer/Creator/Writer of Noah’s Arc), tickets are sold out in Atlanta for today’s showing! That’s a great sign, this film is going to be a hit!

@ SexiSagi- I agree, Noah’s Arc should have more theatres showing it, just like Brokeback Mountain, its only matter of time when it happens!

I recently recieved a question regarding the Noah’s Arc movie, check it out:

Hi Rod,

I think it should be playing frequently for several weeks, just like any other movie. I got their theatre info from the Logo’s website. It stated the movie theatres that are showing the film, and its premiere is October 24th, so I think all the theatres (except for the November showing in Palm Springs) will be premiering that day.

Noah’s Arc Movie Premieres in October

20 Aug

A release date has been set for Noah’s Arc, The Movie. It is set to premiere in limited cities across the U.S. on October 24th. I am so happy and excited for this movie. I’m glad to see Noah, Alex, Ricky and Chance are back, the cancellation of the series was uncalled for and the movie was definitely necessary.  Check out the movie’s offical website for more info and watch a new scene from the upcoming movie.
