Ne-Yo “Miss Independent”
I love this song so much. I like songs by women, embracing independence and female empowerment, but songs by males about positive messages for women are rarely made and/or heard. Its great to see a man recognizing women’s accomplishments and not bringing a woman down for them. Its so inspirational on so many levels (for women, for African-American women). Kudos to Ne-Yo, he always makes the sweetest songs

Ne-Yo has such a great voice and undeniable talent. I can see why the masses would dig this, but I would prefer he put a little more thought and creativity into his lyrics. That change I think would be the icing on the cake.
I hyped it on Everhype and scored it 86% which I think is fairly accurate.
