Have you seen those hilarious commercials with Ashton Kutcher? The Punk’D creator at a wedding, taking photos or at a party while other people are using his camera. That camera he’s using is called Nikon Cool Pix camera. The Wendy Williams Show

 I guess most of you have heard about Wendy Williams cat fight with Omarosa (of Reality Show Fame, i.e. The Apprentice and The Surreal Life) on her show, The Wendy Williams Show. I haven’t been able to watch the show when it comes on, so I can only catch it on youtube. But on August 6th, I will be in the audience, I got tickets!!!! I’m so excited, if I can, I’ll write a behind the scenes post. Back to Wendy vs. Omarosa, to me, it seems like a publicity stunt, but I still like the show. What do you think?

The Obama’s on People Magazine

If you have been to any newsstands lately, then you already noticed The Obama’s gracing the cover of People Magazine. This is said to be the first and last “getting personal” with Obama and his family. I already picked up my copy and the article was great. Check it out and be sure to pick up your own copy.

Tracy Reese Fall 2008 Collection

Since watching season 1 of Project Runway, I’ve developed a minor case of fashionista. Since I’m not completely into fashion (I’m similar to the contestants on How Do I Look? ), I like only a handful of designers. Tracy Reese is among my faves. Her style is described as “feminine chic” and her clothes have been worn by every famous celeb fashionista from Halle Berry to Nicole Richie. Check out a couple pieces of her Fall 2008 Ready to Wear collection (below).

P.S., if you check out her Pre-Spring 2009 collection, you’ll see America’s Next Top Model Cycle 9 Contestant Lisa (from Jersey City, NJ), modeling Ms. Reese’s designs.

A-K-A-Barbie

To celebrate its 100th year anniversary, Mattel has created an Alpha Kappa Alpha Barbie doll. All dressed in pink and green, this barbie will be available in stores soon. If you didn’t know, Alpha Kappa Alpha is the first African-American sorority, established in 1908 at Howard University. Out of the sororities I’ve seen Alpha Kappa Alpha or  Mu Sigma Upsilon) are among my favorites, (although my friend Deborah and cousin Betty would rather me like Delta Sigma Theta)  though I doubt I’d join them. The sisterhood I can deal with, but the stepping I can’t (I’m not that good at dancing).

Sneak Peak at Highschool Musical

Although I’m not a big fan of musics ( I really can’t tolerate the singing), I have seen parts of both High-school Musical 1 and High-school Musical 2 and actually liked it. This fall, High schoolMusical 3 is coming to a theatre near you and I have a good feeling its going to be a box office hit.  Above is the trailer for the High-school Musical 3.
