Beauty Journalism Internships Advice

If you’re looking for an internship in journalism, preferably beauty, here are some things you should know: you should e-mail the assistant beauty editor at a couple of your favorite magazines. Their names can be found on the masthead page ( a list of the staff members of the magazine, from editors to interns), their accounts are usually with the first letter of their first name, followed by their last name@ their company (ex. aweath@ashmaga.com) You should also contact editors at beauty websites, www.glam.com, www.ambermag.com and www.allure.com . And check out, http://www.ed2010.com/ed-campus/internships/list, there are dozens of internship listings specifically for the beauty industry.
