Before He Cheats

4 Apr

 Carrie Underwood

Although I can tolerate some songs by Shania Twain. Leann Rimes and maybe the dixie chicks,I’m not a big fan of country music. But I love the message in this song.

“Before He Cheats”

Right now he’s probably slow dancing with a bleach blonde tramp,
and she’s probably getting frisky.
right now, he’s probably buying her some fruity

little drink cause she can’t shoot whiskey
Right now, he’s probably up behind her with a

pool-stick, showing her how to shoot a combo
And he don’t know

That I dug my key into the side of his

pretty little souped up four wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seat
I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all four tires
Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats.

Right now, she’s probably up singing some
white-trash version of Shania karaoke
Right now, she’s probably saying “I’m drunk”
and he’s a thinking that he’s gonna get lucky,
Right now, he’s probably dabbing on three dollars

worth of that bathroom polo And he don’t know

That I dug my key into the side of his

pretty little souped up four wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seats,
I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires
Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats.

I might’ve saved a little trouble for the next girl,
Cause the next time that he cheats
Oh, you know it won’t be on me

Ohh not on me
Cause I dug my key into the side of

his pretty little souped up four wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seat
I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights
slashed a hole in all four tires

Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats
Ohh Maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats
Ohh before he cheats

If I had an Ipod….

I really like Jay-Z’s new single, “Hollywood” featuring Beyonce, it seems like whenever Jay and B get together, their songs are pretty good, the chemistry definitely shows. I also like Hellogoodbye’s song “Here in your arms”. The video for it very funny, kind of an ode to the geeks of the 80′s. Although on some websites they’re labeled as a punk/emo band, their song, “Here in Your Arms”, definitely sounds more trance and house music rather than rock.  And Maroon 5′s new single, “Makes me Wonder”, is the perfect song for spring time. The inspiration from this song is definitely inspired by the 70′s with some pop elements added. To listen to it, go to http://www.z100.com/pages/media/playlist.html ,go the bottom and click on Maroon 5, “Makes Me Wonder”.
