I am so excited about Beyonce’s new single, “Beautiful Liar” featutring Shakira. I love the song, and the fact that two superstars, who I never thought would do a song together is the best combo. The video is crazy, its definetley makes me want to take belly dancing lessons. “Beautiful Liar” is off the new release of “B-day”, out on April 3. I also like Pink’s new single, “U+Ur Hand”, ( i think)its a song about going out to a club and having fun and the relationship between a clubber and the bartender (its me and your hand tonight, hint, he or she is just pouring drinks for them). The video for it shows the many sides of pink, with all different color outfits and hair (but, her hair still isn’t pink, the trademark color that made her famous!). I’m going to try to see if I can post the video for “Beautiful Liar” on here, its a crazy video if you haven’t seen it!

10 reasons why I should be a magazine intern (and editor)!

Right now I’m applying for internships, so for all the magazine editors and interns or people who know people in the magazine industry, please read this and consider me as an intern for your magazine.

1. Writing has always been a great past-time for me

2. I have great journalism experience, while working for the campus newspaper and being a stringer for CosmoGIRL!

3. My plan is to help young women’s self-esteem and self image problems thought magazines, since they already have a big impact on their lives now.

4. I plan to fill a void that’s missing in most magazines: diversity (in ethnicity,weight,culture,etc.)

5. It involves my two passions (writing and magazines) which i both love!

6. I wrote a paper about it in the 6th grade, as a career I would want to have when I was older

7. Its brought out a more open side, in terms of voicing my opinion, since I’m a shy person

8. I read magazines inside and out, I know the different messages they want to portray, and the business aspect of it as well

9. Movies involving magazine journalism ,like How to loose a guy in 10 days and 13 going on 30, are my favorites to watch

10. I live and breathe magazines, I’m the “real girl”, I’ve been into magazines since my first issue of Disney Adventures,i’ll give magazines their opinion from a readers perspective. I’m also a well rounded person, polite, courteous and a hard-worker.

MusiqHilary Duff

I love Musiq’s new single, BUDDY. Its definitely one of those “feel good” records that you play when you’re hangin’ with your friends or being laid-back on a Sunday afternoon barbecue. Although I don’t really like the remix with Fat Joe and Ja Rule, in my opinion, they mess up the mood of the song. Hilary Duff’s new single “With Love”, is more of a dance song, than her previous pop/rock single. You might have heard it before, since it was the background music for her commercial for her new perfume, “with love”. I’ll admit, i actually liked some of songs.

Clinique lip Gloss!

Clinique is on of my favorite cosmectic line, and their lip gloss is one of their best produtcs. Their new Potential Lips Plump and Shine, is a new kind of lip gloss that is supposed to help plump your lips while giving them a hint of color. Although it costs almost $20 for one tube of lip gloss (its $17.50), it lasts for a long time, and the variety of shades will definetly give your lips a plumped look. My fave shades are Glamour Full, Mimosa Blossom, and BlackBerry Bloom.
