I really like the new All American Rejects song ” It Ends Tonight”,  I’ve been a fan since ” Swing, Swing” and ” The Last Song”. The Frey’s ” How to Save A life ” is a just a good song on its own( without being played on Grey’s anatomy)I love their new song, “Look After you”, i look at their songs as mainstream melodies with a good message in their lyrics.When I heard Gwen Stefani’s new song, Wind it Up on Z100 I didn’t like it since ,she was yodeling and kinda raping, it reminded me of ” Holla Back Girl“, I might have to listen to it a couple of times to know if I like it or not, however, I do like her new song “Sweet Escape” featuring Akon (a jersey native, like me!)and I’m still not over that VMA boycott she pulled last year, LOL.I like Fergie’s second single” Fergalicious “(Featuring Will.I.Am). I like her style of raping, i hope to get her album by the end of the semester.

The Killers’s  song ” When you were young” is good. I remember when they played it at the VMA’s last year. My favorite song from them is ” Smile like you mean it”, i don’t think they made a video for it though. I also like K.T. Tunstall, “Suddenly I see”, i first saw her on the Today Show when she was starting to promote her album Eye to the telescope. Her performance of “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” was really unique, the way she played all the instruments by herself, I’ve never seen anyone perform like that. Paula Deanda’s new single ” Walk Away” is really good too. She’s like the new generation of Teen Pop, her songs sound like they come from anyother teenage girl’s diary, in a way that you can relate to her songs And I actually like Vanessa Huggens single ” Come back to me”, even though I’m not a big High School Musical Fan, or of musicals in general.

Okay…I’m really excited about the new ” Back to Basics” tour with Christina Aguilera, The Pussycat Dolls and Danity Kane. That’s the ultimate ” Girl Power” concert. Speaking of Danity Kane..I hope ” One Shot” ( the theme song from their TV show ) is their next single, I love that song. There is this band called Hinder who has a song ” Lips of an angel” i know its not knew, but if i had an Ipod, i would definately download it. I also like DHT’s new single ” I go crazy”, and llyod’s new song with Lil’ Wayne , i think its called ” You”, it has a sample, from the 80′s song, “True” ( I also love the remiz with Andre 3000 and Nas). P. Diddy’s new song with Christina Aguilera, ” Tell Me” is good, I’ve never thought I’d see the two of them make a record together, but they do have good music chemistry.

 Lupe Fiasco’s song, “daydream” featuring Jill Scott is really good. I’m glad Jill Scott is getting airplay on stations like Hot 97 and Power 105, it’ll give her more exposure, hopefully bring back the almost mainstream popularity Neo-soul phase in the late 90′s w/ Musiq SoulChild, the Roots, Common, etc. (all the dirty back-packers LOL). I also like Weird Al’s ” White ‘n’ Nerdy”, a parody of Chamillionaire’s ” Ridin’ Dirrty”. I’ve never been a fan of Weird Al, (he was more popular when I was just born) but the video is hilarious, especially with Donny Osmond as his dancing hipe man and Seth Green making a cameo.
